CapitalSource
The CapitalSource fundraiser is an online fundraising campaign, launched on Milaap.com in October 2025, and aims to raise INR 40,000. The funds would be transferred to support the ongoing efforts of our partner, The Grace Foundation Charitable Trust, an organization focused on enhancing accessibility for people with disabilities. The funds raised through this initiative were allocated first for installing inclusive infrastructure, with any surplus supporting the NGO's daily operations and core programs.
QuestionSource
Conducted in October 2025, a three-part survey was designed and administered among NGO workers, students, and other stakeholders with the aim of gathering information to make the Grace Foundation's premises more accessible. The survey explored questions related to challenges, hurdles, and costs, in addition to seeking suggestions to make the NGO space more friendly for disabled individuals. The insights gathered serve as a foundation for informed, inclusive improvements to the physical environment.
KnowledgeSource
Authored in July 2026, this research paper explores novel innovations and case studies on inclusivity-focused, low-cost design interventions, as well as architectural and interior design methods within the Indian context. The paper examines practical approaches to making spaces more accessible for individuals with disabilities, contributing to the broader discourse on inclusive design in India.
OpenSource Refurbishment
In December 2025, utilizing the sum raised through the fundraiser, work commenced on making the NGO premises PwD-friendly through inclusive design. Specially-designed tables were distributed to the Grace Foundation, offering greater accessibility for the students there. Suggestions for further accessible design were also pitched, including the installation of ramps and elevators to make elevated platforms and floors easier to reach, the installation of automatic doors, the addition of grab bars to washrooms and restrooms, along with audio assistance and tactile pavements.
LearningSource Workshops
In July 2026, a student-led workshop was organized, featuring two sessions on how instructors can make modifications and adjustments to learning methods for students and children with non-physical disabilities. The workshops aimed to improve learning outcomes by equipping educators with practical, adaptable teaching strategies tailored to diverse learning needs.
